Christ Church (United Reformed)

The Revd Ian Howarth (Methodist) is jointly Minister of our church and of Leatherhead Methodist Church (LMC). Both churches belong to a Joint Pastorate of five churches, including Cobham URC, Cobham Methodist Church and Effingham Methodist Church, and the joint Minister of these three Cobham and Effingham churches is the Revd Kim Plumpton (URC).

Leatherhead Parish Church, LMC and Christ Church have formed special links as the three Leatherhead Uniting Churches (see Covenants), part of the wider group of Churches Together in Leatherhead.

History
Formed in 1829 as a self-governing Congregational church, we became part of the United Reformed Church (URC) in 1972. We receive guidance from the Surrey Pastoral Committee of the Surrey & Sussex Synod Area of the Southern Synod of the URC.
